Detailed information and data collected through
scientific research and study of the coastal zone often ends up in the
boardrooms and meeting rooms of higher level government agencies where
policies related to the use and management of the coastal zone are
formulated. Development of effective policies requires that policy
makers have a clear and accurate understanding of the data being
presented, and that the policies are flexible enough to be reviewed and
revised as new data becomes available. Staff and Associates of Christian
J. Stewart Consulting
have participated in a number of high visibility studies that have
allowed us to liaise with various levels of government, non-governmental
organizations, public interest groups, scientists and academics, and
develop effective policies related to the coastal zone. Our expertise on
a wide variety of coastal resource and impact projects allows us to
bring to the table a number of practical insights necessary for
effective program evaluations and policy analyses.
